Employee Application Process

Thank you for your interest in becoming an employee with CORE. There are two levels of employment. One may apply to become a certificated employee; teacher, high school counselor, school psychologist, administrator, etc. or one may become a classified employee; teacher's aide, office assistant, office technician, school secretary etc.

The process for becoming a certificated employee is as follows:
  • Meet the certification requirements of the job for which you are applying (see below)
  • Submit the Employment Application PDF along with all required documentation including copies of: current credential, TB test, CBEST results, and resume.

Certificated Requirements

  1. Meet credential requirements (see below)
  2. Internet access with e-mail, printer capability and access to fax
  3. Computer capable of running Windows-based application software
  4. Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher and Adobe Acrobat Reader
  5. Reliable transportation
  6. Telephone with voice mail or answering machine
  7. Attend regularly scheduled meetings, assist with STAR testing, and attend mandatory trainings

Credential Requirements

CORE requires the following:

  • Current, clear California Teaching Credential (Single Subject or Multiple Subject)

We comply with the regulations established by California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Teachers must have a bachelor's degree (conferred by a regionally accredited institution with the appropriate level of semester/level of credits), student teaching, and successful completion of CBEST program.

The process for becoming an employee other than a teacher is as follows:
  • Meet the requirements of the job for which you are applying
  • Submit the Employment Application PDF along with all required documentation including copies of: TB test, and resume.
