Meetings
Staff
Staff meetings are conducted throughout the school year in both schools. The staffs from both schools meet annually to share trainings in best practices in curriculum and instruction. The school staffs also receive trainings monthly with updates on school business and they collaborate on important issues in order to continually improve the schools ability to serve the students. The schedule for staff meetings is posted at the beginning of each school year. Any changes will be announced under What's New on the home page.
TCA, Inc. Board and CORE Placer Inc. Board
The CORE schools are operated by two separate 501c3 non-profit organizations, The Camptonville Academy, Inc. and Community Options for Resources in Education, CORE Placer Inc. As such, each board conducts regular governance meetings throughout the year. The meeting locations rotate to different areas that are served by the CORE schools. The board is comprised of community members and parents. All meetings are open.
The CORE charter council is an advisory council made up of parents, teachers, the Executive Director and a sponsor representative. The council meets 3 times during the school year. All meetings are open.
2008/09 Board of Directors meeting schedule…unless otherwise noted, all meetings for TCA, Inc. will begin at 1:00 p.m. All meetings for CORE Placer Inc. will begin at 5:00 p.m.
